Host of Jeopardy! Ken Jennings has shown his team colors but left fans divided with his latest social media post.
Jennings, 51, shared an Instagram post as he pledged his support for the Washington Huskies football team during their game against the Purdue Boilermakers. In the picture, Jennings smiles for the camera alongside his son, Dylan Jennings, with the gameplay and crowds in the stadium clearly visible behind him. The time away from filming the TV show also comes as he revealed to fans he will no longer be one of the hosts of the Omnibus podcast.
Sharing a picture from the game to Instagram, Jennings wrote, “(extremely ominous voice) Heaven help the foes of Washington.”
Some fans of the same team posted, “Go Dawgs!!!” With others adding similar cheers and team support. However, some fans took issue with the team Jennings supports, as one posted, “Sorry Ken, but Go Ducks!”
Another shared, “Excuse me, but go Cougs!” A third shared, “God could do everything in His power and Purdue football still would not win a football game.”

The social media post also comes after jeopardy! Fans shared mixed reviews of Ken Jennings’ ‘bold’ style makeover in recent appearances.
Jennings has served as a host on the show since 2021, initially sharing the role with Mayim Bialik, before becoming the sole host in 2023. He took the job following the death of longtime host Alex Trebek in 2020.
Fans have noticed that Jennings has worn bolder combinations with his shirts and ties, and seems to be dressing differently from the way he did in the past. Others pointed out that it seemed to be a way to attract a new audience while still appealing to older fans who may be missing Trebek as well.

Jennings also spoke out to fans last month about leaving his position as host of the Omnibus podcast, but he added that he doesn’t plan to leave the game show itself anytime soon. While speaking to TV Insider, he admitted, “I have no plans to hang it up.”
“The last host worked into his 80s. Traditionally, it’s not a job you retire from,” he explained. “I didn’t know at the time, but now that I have a few years under my belt, I think I understand why Alex [Trebek] wanted to do it,” he said.
He added, “It’s just such an incredibly fun job. You’re playing along with the smartest folks and getting to see them do their thing up close. I really feel very lucky that I’m still part of the Jeopardy! family after all these years.”
Jeopardy! airs weeknights on ABC.
