Barcelona confirm serious Marc Bernal injury – Gavi had the same

Barcelona have officially confirmed our biggest fears about Marc Bernal’s injury. The young midfielder suffered a severe rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament and an associated meniscus injury.

This occurred just minutes before the end of the Rayo Vallecano game, following a collision with Isi Palazon.

Bernal is expected to undergo surgical treatment in the coming days.
