Barca fan accuses Hansi Flick of playing Ferran Torres in wrong position, names his ideal role

Ferran Torres has had a poor start to the 2024/25 season with Barcelona and has seen himself substituted in all three of the La Liga games so far.

He has not scored a goal or provided an assist yet and was taken off at half-time itself in the recent 2-1 win over Rayo Vallecano.

But one Barcelona fan, Gauravfcb1011, believes that Hansi Flick is not using the Spaniard properly and playing him out of his natural role.

The Barca supporter wrote on Reddit: “Ferran is a Right Winger & flick should play him there. Ferran Torres is naturally a Right Winger who does a lot of crossing similar to what Raphinha is doing right now on the LW under flick.

“I think Ferran should be sub for Yamal on the RW. Flick should use him to his natural strength, he did that for Raphinha, and should do for Ferran as well. Because he is our investment and probably will stay longer than Raphinha (if not sold) as he is young.

“Flick should try to bring everyone’s best because we need it, because we are desperate, and want to see our team win with honour, respect and fear like other great teams, unlike Manchester United. Mocking and hating on one player is not good. They are our players and we should try to help them in any possible way that we can try of.

“Like Vitor Roque playing outside of his natural position and barely getting any playtime as a striker because of Lewa who is just undroppable, Ferran is also not being played there in the RW because of godly talented Yamal and opportunistic Pau Victor who is actually very good as well!”
