Thanks to his creativity and youth, Diego Gomez has caught the attention of Premier League club Brighton since the beginning of this year.

This is a team that always creates a launching pad for young, little-known stars to become famous, before transferring them to rich clubs at very high prices. Brighton’s deals of buying cheap and selling at extremely high prices include midfielder Mac Allister (Argentina) bought for less than 9 million USD, but when transferred to Liverpool for nearly 45 million USD. Or Moises Caicedo (Ecuador) cost just over 5 million USD, but transferred to Chelsea for up to nearly 130 million USD…

Therefore, Brighton has high expectations for Diego Gomez’s potential, when they convinced Inter Miami to release this Paraguayan player with a fee just agreed upon up to 12.8 million USD. This is a “huge” profit for Mr. David Beckham’s team, when it is said that they only spent 3 million USD to recruit this player from Libertad Club (Paraguay).
