Newly unveiled Real Madrid star Endrick has vowed to give his best every time he is called upon to represent the Spanish giants. The Brazilian teenager was unveiled as a new player for Los Blancos after representing Brazil at the Copa America earlier this summer.

Real Madrid beat a number of top European sides, including Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, to sign Endrick from Palmeiras when he was just 16. The young striker remained at the Brazilian club, where he further developed his game and earned invitations to play for the senior national team.

Having only turned 18 on July 21, the Brazilian striker was officially unveiled in front of about 43,000 Real Madrid fans at the Santiago Bernabeu. The youngster’s unveiling follows that of French star Kylian Mbappe, who was unveiled in front of a packed Santiago Bernabeu days earlier.

Endrick spoke at a press conference immediately after his unveiling, where he vowed to alway put out his 100 percent for the club (via Madrid Xtra). The teenager reiterated that he is at the club to score goals and help them to win trophies, as well.

“I want to help the team, I want to score goals, creating goals, winning trophies. I will run and play anywhere to help my team. Whatever is needed, I want to help. I will give 100% until the end.”

Endrick has taken the number 16 shirt at the club, the same number he had at Palmeiras when he made his professional debut at the age of 16. The teenager could not hold back his tears during his unveiling at the Bernabeu, as he, along with his parents, were overcome by emotion.

The young striker will start the season as a backup option in attack, with Mbappe expected to start alongside the likes of Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo for Carlo Ancelotti’s side. The departure of Joselu would likely present a path for the teenager to earn his keep for the club in 2024-25.

Endrick reveals Real Madrid career dream

New Real Madrid man Endrick has revealed that he hopes to remain at the club for the remainder of his professional career. The youngster spoke with the media at a press conference following his unveiling at the club. He will play for only his second professional club, having come through the Palmeiras academy system.

“My goal? To be here for the rest of my career because that means I have done great things.”

Endrick has shown in his young career that he is capable of scoring goals and leading his team to titles. In Brazil, the youngster helped Palmeiras secure consecutive league triumphs before leaving this summer. He has also scored a couple of goals for the Brazil national team, including one against Spain at the Santiago Bernabeu.
