Christopher Meloni Looks Epic With Long, Flowing Blonde Hair Past His Shoulders

Christopher Meloni’s iconic buzzed-to-bald haircut has defined his tough-as-nails look for nearly 15 years, perfectly matching his Law & Order: Organized Crime (and SVU) character, Elliot Stabler. For Stabler, hair is just another distraction when it comes to serving justice.

However, during the filming of an ad for the compression clothing company Tommie Copper, Meloni made a dramatic change. He swapped his signature buzz for long, flowing blonde locks that cascaded past his shoulders. This epic transformation was not just for any ad but for a Tommie Copper commercial promoting one of their “hero” products. To fit the superhero theme, Meloni donned a cape and a blonde wig that could rival Thor’s majestic mane.

The result? A superhero look that was nothing short of spectacular. Don’t just take our word for it — you can see Meloni rocking his blonde tresses in the Tommie Copper commercial below. We can’t help but wonder if Meloni discovered if blondes really do have more fun. Judging by his superhero persona, it seems they certainly do.

While Organized Crime fans might not see Meloni sporting blonde hair in upcoming episodes, they can look forward to new episodes when Season 5 premieres exclusively on Peacock. Although the exact premiere date remains unannounced, there’s another exciting possibility on the horizon. Mariska Hargitay, who plays Olivia Benson, hinted at a potential reunion between her character and Meloni’s Stabler in the near future.

Hargitay shared with Variety, “I just told [Meloni] the other day. We had a party the other night, we saw each other. It was heavenly. I met his showrunner. They want us together, and Chris and I were talking about it, and it’s time. It’s time now for us. This was a long time not being in each other’s universe. That’s why we did the calls and stuff like that. But we’re excited to get back in there, get back in the ring.”

Fans of the Law & Order universe have eagerly awaited a “Bensler” meetup, and it seems the time has finally come. So, while we may not see Stabler as a blonde anytime soon, the promise of more screen time with Benson is more than enough to keep fans on the edge of their seats.
