Sergi Roberto could play in Europe’s most scenic stadium as ex-Barca teammate reaches out over new club

Sergi Roberto left Barcelona as a free agent after 15 years at the club. The former Catalans’ skipper is now searching for a new team.

While many have speculated about him joining MLS to reunite with Lionel Messi, Roberto might find himself under the wing of another ex-Blaugrana teammate.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Cesc Fabregas has reached out to Roberto with the possibility of signing for Como.

Cesc, who recently obtained his coaching license, has taken charge of the ambitious Serie A side, which boasts one of the most scenic stadiums in all of Europe — just take a look.

Roberto has yet to accept Fabregas’ offer, reportedly prioritizing a move to the Premier League.

However, with the summer transfer window closing soon and no concrete offers from other clubs, he might decide to take the sure thing in hand.
