Barca defender who has just won youth Euro set to join Bayer Leverkusen (reliability: 5 stars)

Barcelona defender Andrea Natali is set to leave the club to join Bayer Leverkusen as a free agent, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

The Italian has played a key role for Italy U17 as his team won the youth European Championship.

Barca are likely to replace the 16-year-old with Gent centre-back Jorthy Mokio who is being personally targeted by the club’s sporting director, Deco. Both Natale and Mokio are considered big emerging talents.

Andrea Natali has been part of La Masia since 2021, quickly rising through the academy ranks.
