Barcelona fans treatment of Nico Williams in Barca-Bilbao clash spotted
A section of Barcelona fans have been booing Nico Williams during their game against Athletic Bilbao at the Montjuic Stadium.
This comes after Williams reportedly rejected advances from Barca to stay at Athletic Club and wear the number 10 shirt.
La Liga TV matchday commentator slammed Barca fans for doing it by saying, “It’s not Williams’s fault, even if he wanted to join Barca doesn’t have any money to sign him.”
Williams has been playing brilliantly in the game with some dangerous crosses and dribbles down the left flank.
Meanwhile, Williams Jr. was spotted joking and laughing before kick-off. The two wingers continue their bromance from Euro 2024.
