Barcelona to send one more player on loan – he’s a La Masia graduate

Barcelona are planning to send yet another player away as part of their efforts to meet the 1:1 rule. La Masia graduate Alex Valle is on the verge of a loan move to Celtic.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the left-back will travel to Glasgow on Monday to undergo his medicals and finalize the contract. The arrangement is expected to be a simple, year-long loan deal an option to buy.

Though Valle hasn’t seen first-team action in official matches, he did get some game time during the pre-season tour in the U.S.

It seems Hansi Flick decided that Alex is not ready for senior football just yet, so the youngster is heading to Scotland to hone his skills.
