Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour Sets New Grossing Record

According to Billboard, singer Beyoncé’s world tour brought in more than $179 million in just one month, higher than her previous record.
The Renaissance World Tour kicks off in Europe in May 2023, but tickets went on sale as early as February 2023. At the time, Billboard estimated the tour could gross between $275 million and $428 million.

This is Beyoncé’s first solo tour since 2016 and follows the release of her Grammy-winning album Renaissance in July 2022.

In August, Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour grossed $179.3 million, the highest grossing tour since 1985, when Billboard began tracking tour revenue through Boxscore. In July, Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour also set a record, grossing $127.6 million.

Billboard said it was “her highest-grossing tour ever,” with a total of $461.3 million. Beyoncé will wrap up the tour in Kansas City on October 1, with a total of nearly 60 shows.

Billboard estimates that the Renaissance World Tour will gross a total of $560 million, making it the highest-grossing tour ever. If Beyoncé reaches that estimate, she will be the only black American solo artist to make the top 10 list of highest-grossing tours, surpassing Roger Waters and the Rolling Stones.

According to Billboard , Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour surpassed Madonna’s 2008–09 Sticky & Sweet to become the highest-grossing tour by a female artist in history.

Forbes estimates Beyoncé’s net worth at $540 million, making her one of the 50 richest self-made women in America.

At this year’s Grammy Awards, her album Renaissance won her four more awards, making her the singer with the most Grammys in history.

The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 upon its release, making Beyoncé the first female artist to have seven number-one albums on the chart.
