Cules choose best Barca player at Euros — and it’s NOT Yamal

11 Barcelona players travelled to Germany to represent their countries at Euro 2024.

But who would say have been Barcelona’s best player at the Euros so far?

For many Blaugrana faithful on X, the undisputed answer is Jules Kounde.

It’s obvious that Lamine Yamal has captured the narrative playing in Spain’s right-wing and that Pedri has been imperious in La Roja’s midfield, but Kounde has performed brilliantly despite playing at right-back.

One fan tweeted, “Star boy Kounde has been the best Barca player at the Euros full stop.”

Another said, “You might not notice Kounde but he’s yet to have a bad game.”

“It’s Kounde without question,” another fan said.

The debate will continue until the Euros is over. Ilkay Gundogan hasn’t played badly and deserves a mention.

Regardless of who the best player is, the happiest man will be the one who comes home with the trophy in mid-July.
