Dani Olmo picks new shirt number at Barca – it belonged to another player last season

Dani Olmo has agreed to join Barcelona and even passed his medical already.

The final step is his signature on the deal through 2030, which is expected to be completed on Friday.

According to Diario Sport, Olmo has decided on his shirt number as well.

While some might have expected him to choose no. 7 or no. 10 — the numbers he wore at RB Leipzig and with the Spanish national team, respectively — Dani opted for no. 20, which recently became available after Sergi Roberto’s departure.
