Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s stuntman for the past 15years is actually his cousin

HE’S one of the biggest action movie stars in Hollywood – but even beefcake Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson needs a helping hand when it comes to certain stunts.

You’d think finding someone who matches up to the former WWE wrestler’s immense frame would be a tricky task – but no.

Step forward Tanoai Reed, the buff Dwayne lookalike who just so happens to be his real life cousin.

The 6ft 2in Hawaii-born stuntman may be two years The Rock’s junior at 43, but the former professional American football player certainly gives him a run for his money when it comes to muscles.

Tanoai has doubled up as his cousin in every one of his films since 2002’s The Scorpion King.

He’s been working as a stuntman for over 20 years, making his big screen debut in 1995 science fiction flick Waterworld and TV series Baywatch Nights.

Tanoai, who has been married to stuntwoman Suzanne Reed since 1999, with whom he has a son, Samson, admitted that his action-packed job has “taken its toll” on his body.

Earlier this year he told Scout.com: “I’m jumping off buildings, I’m getting hit by cars, I’m crashing stuff. My body – I’m 43 years old but I feel like I’m 83 sometimes.”
