Fabrizio Romano confirms Barca contacts with Dani Olmo, reveals price tag

Barcelona have indeed had talks with Dani Olmo’s agents, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Bayern Munich and a few Premier League clubs have also inquired about the Spaniard. However, Bayern would only go for the move if they fail to sign Xavi Simons or Desire Doue.

RB Leipzig still want around €60m for Olmo, even though his €60m release clause has expired.

Earlier, it was said that Barca had made an official offer for the 26-year-old which included fixed fee and add-ons. Leipzig’s stance on it is unclear.

The attacking midfielder recorded 13 goal contributions in 25 appearances for RB Leipzig last season, also performing very well at the Euros.

Dani Olmo was part of La Masia from 2007 to 2014.
