The first glimpse of this came during an off-duty moment when Lawrence stepped out wearing LOEWE’s “I Told Ya” graphic shirt designed for Luca Guadagnino’s Challengers.

Now, Lawrence is doubling down on this aesthetic—or lack thereof, should we say. With reports of a crippling trend cycle and fatigue for micro ‘-cores’, the actress is embodying our collective disdain for adhering to a specific niche style by cherry-picking a piece from each. Though it’s not clear if her “stealth wealth” days are decisively behind her, it’s clear the sartorial path that lies ahead will be traversed with a little more intrepidness.

The silhouette in question came courtesy of a date with her husband, art dealer Cooke Maroney. For the occasion, Lawrence remained unyielding to her favourite designer labels but just looked to less popular pieces from them. In the pictures, which you can see here, Lawrence can be seen wearing a burgundy cotton poplin button-up shirt from The Row, a black singlet, a printed paisley maxi skirt and cross-strapped Alaïa Mary Janes.

Yes, combining a preppy top, sporty shoe and bohemian skirt is a style potion of its own.
