Gal Gadot and The Rock talk about the accident on set

Gal Gadot and The Rock co-star in the movie “Red Notice”. The work was released on the online platform in mid-November.

ET reported that in a newly conducted interview, Gal Gadot and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recounted the accident the actress had while filming an action scene for Red Notice . In the work, which will air on the online video service Netflix from November 12, Gadot plays a super thief who specializes in targeting works of art and The Rock plays a police officer tasked with stopping her.

“Do you remember the time I cut my leg?”, Gal Gadot started the story. The Rock replied yes, confirming it was a serious injury. Gadot humorously described: “At that time there was so much blood, I was afraid I was going to die.”

“Do you remember the scene where I kicked the handcuffs in the movie? That’s when my leg was injured. I decided to give my all for the role,” the actress continued. Despite her serious injury, Gadot decided to continue filming.

The Rock recounted the incident at that time: “Her blood was scattered all over the set, causing the staff to panic. Ambulance staff and others began to arrive, making things even more confusing. But Gal said something that I can’t forget. She said: ‘I don’t need time for bloodshed’, then we continued filming. I was surprised. She is like a hero in my eyes.”

Before Red Notice , Johnson and Gadot were co-stars in the Fast & Furious series . The two stars said they felt excited to have more opportunities to collaborate.

“Since filming Fast & Furious , I have been close to Dwayne Johnson and like him. I am always looking for opportunities to continue working with Johnson. And Red Notice came perfectly,” Gal Gadot shared.

The beauty continued: “Dwayne Johnson is so talented, smart, kind and funny. Working with him is very comfortable. A generous co-star. We have much in common. Johnson is a family man. We both have three daughters. It’s very comfortable to collaborate with colleagues who are compatible in both work and daily life.”

As for The Rock, the muscular actor commented on his co-star: “I’ve always admired Gal since the first day we met. Fast & Furious is a good opportunity for us to become close and gain more professional experience. We understand each other quite well.” The actor affirmed that Gal Gadot possesses both talent and charisma, helping her achieve success today as well as maintain her appeal in the hearts of the audience.
