Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that he expects Kylian Mbappe to receive the same treatment as Endrick when he arrives at the club. The teenager has been shown the harsh reality of European football while training with Antonio Rudiger on pre-season with the squad.

Teenage sensation Endrick was unveiled as a new Real Madrid player last week, having joined the club since he was just 16. The 18-year-old was unveiled after Mbappé had earlier received the same honor at the Santiago Bernabeu only weeks earlier.

Endrick was named in the squad for Los Blancos’ pre-season tour of the USA, and he has been training with senior players like Antonio Rudiger. Reports emerged in recent days of the German defender taking a hard-line approach to defending against the youngster, sparking rumors of discord.

“Reports of issue of Rüdiger and Endrick? Nothing happened, Rüdiger just welcomed Endrick (smiles). He will do the same when Mbappé comes, Antonio is a great guy.”

Kylian Mbappé is yet to resume pre-season training with his new club after helping France reach the semifinals of Euro 2024. The 25-year-old is also carrying a facial injury, and will be afforded sufficient rest to allow him reach his best levels.

Mbappe will likely join up with the squad in the final days of their US tour next month. In his absence, the likes of Endrick will get a chance to stake their claims ahead of the commencement of the new season.

Endrick reveals plans to learn from Mbappe, two other Real Madrid stars

Real Madrid wonderkid Endrick has promised to learn a number of players at the club, name-dropping three stars. The teenager is set for his first season at the club, having joined from Brazilian outfit SE Palmeiras.

Endrick made the commitment during his unveiling as a new Real Madrid player days ago, naming Vinicius Jr, Kylian Mbappe and Luka Modric as players he looks to learn from. The youngster vowed to take advice from all three established stars in his time at the club.

“I will listen to all advice from my team-mates. Modric, Vini, Mbappe. I’m here to learn.”

Endrick will likely begin pre-season as the starting striker for the Spanish giants with Mbappé yet to resume training. The youngster will be eager to impress Carlo Ancelotti, starting with the game against AC Milan on Wednesday.
