How Barca could line up with BOTH Nico Williams and Dani Olmo: 2 options

Barcelona reportedly plan to snap up both Nico Williams and Dani Olmo this summer!

The two attackers would easily fit in Hansi Flick’s classic 4-2-3-1 formation – take a look.

Option 1: without new defensive midfielder

From four midfielders under Xavi to four attackers under Flick – Barca’s formation is going to be really different to what it was before. If Blaugrana’s ambitious transfer plans leave them without a new defensive midfielder, Pedri and Frenkie de Jong would most likely be the midfield pairing (Gavi could be out until 2025, Gundogan is expected to have a less prominent role).

Option 2: with new defensive midfielder

If Barca somehow manage to add Mikel Merino to their roster too, the Spaniard would be the team’s new defensive midfielder. He could form a pairing with Pedri or Gavi when the latter is fit.
