‘I will make mistakes, but I will also learn and improve…’ – Endrick sent an emotional tribute to Real Madrid fans after creating a beautiful goal in the match against Valladolid
Following Real Madrid’s 3-0 triumph over Real Valladolid in La Liga, Endrick—a youthful Brazilian who scored in his Bernabeu La Liga debut off the bench—came under the limelight. After the game, Endrick talked to Real Madrid TV about his views on a night that would always be a part of his memories and how happy he was to have fulfilled a long-time desire.
A Reality Brought to Life
“I’m overjoyed. It is the realisation of a dream. I had scored here at the Bernabéu when I had previously played for the Brazilian national team, but it wasn’t with Real Madrid. I made my La Liga debut in addition to my formal debut today.
“All that is happening to me is something for which I am grateful to God. I’ve always aimed to triumph for the sake of all Brazilians, but today I also consider the people of Spain. I want us all to be together and for them to enjoy every game that we have. Being alongside these amazing players, who I had only seen in computer games, makes me very happy. It holds great significance for me.
Accepting the Challenge
“When I first arrived, I discussed my ability to provide effort and talent with Ancelotti. I’ve kept up my work. I shall fail and I will succeed at the same time. I’m a new child with a lot to learn, but I’m content nonetheless. I’m working and waiting for my chance with everyone by my side. I’ll wait because I have a lot of faith in the coach.
“Valladolid has a strong squad that features both youthful and seasoned players. We were able to score goals after the coach spoke to us at halftime.
“Everyone is content. Here, in front of our families, we played. The game was excellent. My family is aware of my immense efforts and the hardships we have endured. People made fun of me, and my family was among them. Despite everything we have experienced, we are all together. It’s amazing to be here, experiencing this moment, and even more amazing to share it with them.
“Hello, followers. Thank you for attending the Bernabéu, everyone. Madrid, hala.
