Ilkay Gundogan 'agrees' to leave Barca to help them financially

Ilkay Gundogan doesn’t want to be a problem for Barcelona, according to Diario Sport’s Jordi Gil.

The German has ‘agreed’ to leave the club to help them financially.

Gundogan is said to be third on the list of Barca’s highest-paid players, so his departure would allow the club to register the remaining players and maybe even make a signing or two.

The 33-year-old is said to be in talks with Manchester City while some Saudi, Qatari and Turkish clubs are also interested in signing the midfielder.

Ilkay Gundogan scored five goals and provided 14 assists in 51 appearances for Barcelona last season.
