Joan Laporta's plans to generate €60m for Barca players registration – not through player sales

Barcelona have still not been able to register new signing Dani Olmo to their La Liga squad due to financial issues.

But as per Marca, Joan Laporta is trying his best to help generate a €60m windfall in revenue to help get the necessary funds for creating space in their salary structure.

The Barca president is trying to finalize talks with Nike over a new agreement with Nike on the shirt sponsorship. He’s hoping to earn €40m for the club once the Nike agreement is secured.

Laporta is aiming to also generate €20m from the sale of the Barca Vision project. Bridgeburg Invest are ready to provide that money to the Blaugrana.

If Barca are able to get this kind of inflow of cash, they should have enough finances to register Olmo to the La Liga squad. The departure of Ilkay Gundogan itself will reportedly not be enough for securing the Spaniard’s registration.
