“John Wick” Keanu Reeves may join the Fast and Furious team in the future

Keanu Reeves is the hottest name in Hollywood today that any studio wants to cooperate with. With his manly appearance and top acting, this 55-year-old actor has proven his ability to “can be danced to any music” and not just limited to action blockbusters. The clearest evidence is that after the success of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum , Keanu continued to cause a stir when he voiced Duke Caboom in the animated masterpiece Toy Story 4 .

Marvel is currently the name that most desires to have Keanu in the team, especially in the context that the two “greats” Robert Downey Jr and Chris Evans have officially parted ways with the MCU after Avengers: Endgame . However, many recent sources have simultaneously pointed out that the Fast & Furious action racing film series is the next ideal destination for assassin John Wick.

In the middle of this year, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson revealed that Keanu Reeves should have played the main villain in Fast and Furious: Hobbs & Shaw to confront him and Jason Statham. But because his schedule was too busy, Keanu had to regretfully refuse to participate in this action blockbuster.

However, that does not mean that the opportunity for Keanu in F&F is completely closed. In a recent interview, screenwriter Chris Morgan of the spin-off Hobbs & Shaw confirmed that F&F is urgently negotiating with Keanu and finding the best role for this veteran actor.

Chris said: “ I have already met with Keanu to discuss this issue. I want him to join the F&F universe and stay as long as possible. The most difficult problem is still time and overlapping schedules. My biggest wish is to bring Keanu back to Fast and Furious, just solve this mess and that’s it .”

Looking ahead, 2020 will be an extremely busy year for Keanu as he has dozens of other promising projects. These include John Wick: Chapter 4, The Matrix 4, Bill & Ted Face the Music , the animated The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the run and the blockbuster game Cyberpunk 2077 .
