Kylie Jenner’s exes join in Cannes brawl

Kylie Jenner’s ex Travis Scott and Tyga were reportedly involved in a brawl that broke out in the early morning of May 24 (local time) at the Cannes Film Festival. The two rappers are said to have gotten into a fight.

Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner ‘s exes, Tyga, got into a heated argument that escalated into a brawl while attending businessman Richie Akiva’s The After Party at Domaine La Dilecta in France. The event is held annually after the Cannes Film Festival. Reports suggest that the fight initially took place between Tyga’s close friend Alexander Edwards (AE) and Travis. But other friends of theirs later joined in.

A source told Page Six that when businessman Akiva (who hosted the party) grabbed the microphone and shouted Tyga and Edwards’ names, saying, “We got T-Raww and AE right here,” Travis Scott “got upset.” Rapper Sicko Mode immediately stormed the stage and snatched the microphone from Akiva. This caused Edwards, who Akiva had just mentioned, to explain to Travis: “Let him show us some love.”

“Travis was the aggressor,” a source confirmed. “He and his team were psychotic, erratic and crazy. Honestly, Travis was there looking to pick a fight with anyone,” the source added.

Insiders say the “fight” began as Travis and Tyga stood behind the DJ booth. The Goosebumps rapper approached Tyga’s security team and shouted insults and death threats.

While Edwards tried to calm the situation, Scott returned with his friend Southside to help. Southside and Edwards began to push each other before Edwards threw punches. The clip circulating on social media appears to show the fight, which resulted in Travis falling off the stage.

Another source confirmed to Page Six that Tyga himself did not appear to have “physically impacted” Scott, who was seen standing off to the side by the DJ booth during the altercation. A second source added that Tyga was just “relaxing” throughout. Video footage shows Scott and Southside fighting with Edwards on stage as other partygoers look on in shock.

However, security forces eventually arrived to deal with the situation and people continued to party “as if nothing had happened” at the famous French villa.

After the fight, Tyga continued partying, while Scott “turned around” and left with his friends.

Although Scott and Tyga both dated Kylie Jenner, the reason for the conflict had nothing to do with the youngest Kardashian sibling.

“The history is still there but that’s not necessarily the cause of this fight,” an insider told TMZ , admitting that there has been tension between Travis and Tyga for a long time.

Tyga and Kylie Jenner were together for two years when the millionaire was just 17. Kylie then dated Travis in 2017 and had two children together, Stormi and Aire, before splitting in January last year.
