‘I got the ball, I didn’t think’: Yamal reveals all about scoring wonder goal vs France

Lamine Yamal inspired Spain to move onto the Euro 2024 final after scoring a brilliant goal in their 2-1 win over France.

Speaking after the game about his feelings and that sensational goal, the Spaniard replied: “Very happy to be in the final..the goal came in difficult moments.

“I got the ball, I didn’t think, it went in…I now ask to win the final. I also wanted to celebrate my birthday in Germany and I’m very happy.”

The Barcelona sensation became the youngest player to score in a European Championship game with his wonder strike against France. He has one goal and three assists in six appearances so far.

Yamal is going to turn 17 on July 13. He will be aiming to get his best birthday present by guiding La Roja to win their fourth European Championship by winning the final on Sunday (July 14).
