Lamine Yamal has added another impressive achievement to his list of accomplishments at the UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany.

His stunning goal against France in the semi-finals has been officially named the UEFA Euro 2024 Goal of the Tournament.

Yamal’s record-breaking goal, which came from 25 yards out, made him the youngest goalscorer in the tournament’s history, surpassing Johan Vonlanthen’s record.

Yamal’s goal earned 41.6% of the votes, beating out England’s Jude Bellingham’s bicycle kick against Slovakia, which received 24.4% of the votes, and Xherdan Shaqiri’s strike against Scotland, which received 14.6% of the votes.

This accolade comes after Yamal was named the Young Player of the Tournament and was included in the UEFA Euro 2024 Team of the Tournament, capping off an impressive performance for Spain.
