Mariska Hargitay shared a throwback snap of her wedding night with husband Peter Hermann, on the couple’s 19th anniversary.
The 59-year-old actress – who put on the 4th Annual Joyful Heart Walk for her Joyful Heart Foundation earlier this month – shared a snap of her first dance with her 56-year-old husband from their wedding on August 28, 2004.
’19 years. Best dance of my life. Only dance of my life,’ Hargitay captioned the snap, while tagging photographer Lara Porzak.
The happy couple tied the knot in Santa Barbara, California, two years after meeting on the set of her hit NBC series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Hargitay is also the godmother to one of her longtime co-star Christopher Meloni’s daughters, Sophia.
The actress recently made headlines for attending Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour stop in Los Angeles, with her daughter Amaya.
She shared a number of snaps on Instagram with her and Today show host Savannah Guthrie and Selena Gomez at the SoFi Stadium show.
‘Still in the afterglow of the most magical night. Deepest gratitude to @taylorswift for your poetry and wisdom,’ Hargitay began.
‘You inspire us and connect us to our delicate tenderness, joy, hope and strength—and most of all, our wish to live and love courageously,’ Hargitay added.
‘Thank you, Taylor, for all you do and all you are,’ Hargitay concluded, with Hargitay attending the show making news for a different reason.
Swift has named her cat Olivia Benson, the name of Hargitay’s beloved character on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, which she’s played for 24 seasons.
