'I'm saving my goal for Germany': Lamine Yamal

At just 16, Lamine Yamal is already making headlines at the Euros.

The Barcelona winger has already registered two assists at the tournament — he is the youngest ever to do so in both the group stage and the playoffs.

Yamal was also close to scoring one or two himself, when Spain faced Georgia last week, but all his attempts were ultimately kept out by the opposition goalkeeper.

Yet, Lamine doesn’t seem too fazed about it.

“I’m happy with the result, happy we’ve made it to the quarterfinals and already looking forward to the next match.

“Sure, I would have liked to score tonight, but..I guess..I’m saving my goal for [the game with] Germany,” he told Diario Sport.

Well, Culers, grab your popcorn — the Friday game promises to be lit!
