Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas Take Baby Malti to Be Blessed at Temple in India

The exciting travels just continue for Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’s baby girl, Malti Marie. In a new Instagram post, Chopra offered a rare glimpse of the two-year-old while documenting a family visit to the new Ram Mandir temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India.

In her caption, Chopra wrote, “जय सिया राम| Blessings for the little one and the family 🫶🏻.” Her slideshow included shots of the toddler, who was dressed in a peachy-pink polka-dot set decorated with a print of roses; a matching silk scarf was wrapped around Malti’s head. The little one’s outfit included cranberry-colored pom-poms and tiny golden sequins along the hemlines, and she also sported a pair of heart-shaped golden earrings.

Chopra, who wore a bright yellow sari embroidered with tulips, is seen talking to Malti in the video that closes the slideshow. In the clip, the Citadel star asks her daughter to say the name of the city, Ayodhya, and Malti complies. Other slides see the toddler with her dad, who is dressed in a white floral kurta with cream pants underneath.

The Hollywood pair made the visit with Chopra’s mom, Dr. Madhu Akhouri Chopra, as well as friends Sudeep and Tamanna Dutt. The Dutts’ son, Thiaan, is also featured in Chopra’s carousel—Jonas holds the boy for one of the photos. A few hours after sharing the post, Chopra also posted an image of Malti and Thiaan to her Instagram Story, writing, “Bffs ❤️ just like us,” and tagging her friend Tamanna in the process.

It’s been a busy few weeks for the family. On Wednesday, Chopra shared other snaps of Malti from the family’s visit to Dubai. “Home away from home,” the actor wrote in her caption. “Thank you @bulgarihotels for being such excellent hosts last weekend ♥️ #throwback #ad.”

Chopra and Jonas welcomed their daughter via surrogate in January 2022. They both shared the exciting news on Instagram, with a message that read, “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much.”
