Real Madrid is reportedly frustrated with Mbappe.
Striker Kylian Mbappe broke his nose and had to be immediately hospitalized, after France beat Austria 1-0 in the opening match of Group D of EURO 2024.
During the high ball dispute in the 85th minute, Mbappe tried to head but hit midfielder Kevin Danso’s shoulder. The collision left the French captain lying on the field and bleeding profusely from his face. Television angles also showed that Mbappe’s nose was deviated.
Mbappe sat on the bench in the 0-0 draw with the Netherlands. However, he just returned to play. Specifically, Mbappe appeared for the French team in a friendly match against the U21 Paderborn team on June 22.
Mbappe upset Real.According to AS, this move by Mbappe made Real unhappy. Real wants Mbappe to have nose surgery as soon as possible, to avoid complications for the 2024/25 pre-season.
In contrast, Mbappe only had surgery after EURO 2024 ended. He accepted risks so he could contribute to the French team.
