Real Madrid ace Vinicius Junior suffers blooper in Futsal

Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Junior was spotted biting the floor after a young player got the better of him while playing Futsal. The incident was recorded at the Canto do Rio club in Rio de Janeiro.

Vinicius, currently on vacation after Copa America 2024, participated in a friendly game. While the Brazilian attacker is known as one of the most skillful players in world football, he was on the receiving end of his own medicine in this instance.

The video blew out on social media:

The Real Madrid ace, though, had no hard feelings about it as he stood up and shook the young opponent’s hand. Anybody who has ever laced up a pair of boots would know that every once in a while even the best players are given a taste of humility.

Vinicius, meanwhile, had a stellar 2023-24 campaign with his club side, scoring 24 goals and providing 11 assists in 39 games across competitions. He scored in the UEFA Champions League final as well as Los Merengues lifted the UCL, Supercopa de Espana, and La Liga last term.

Vinicius scored twice during Copa America 2024, where Brazil were knocked out in the quarter-finals. The skillful attacker missed the quarterfinal due to suspension.

Kylian Mbappe reveals Vinicius Junior’s message about Real Madrid transfer

Real Madrid have added yet another modern-day galactico to their ranks. Kylian Mbappe, one of the best players in the world, has joined Los Blancos on a free transfer following the expiration of his PSG deal.

Mbappe revealed he received messages from several current Los Blancos stars about a potential move to the Santiago Bernabeu. The Frenchman said (via The Sun):

“Vinicius also sent me messages, ‘Come to Madrid, we’ll score goals together’.”

Vinicius is now set to feature alongside Mbappe in the Madrid giants’ attack next season. With Jude Bellingham, Rodrygo, Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga, and more present, Carlo Ancelotti’s side look set to have another triumphant campaign in 2024-25.
