“Something that deserves to be told” – Argentine signer shares heart-warming incident involving Lionel Messi and waitress at party

Apart from his heroics on the field, Lionel Messi is also known for his humility in the football fraternity. Argentine singer and former YouTuber Maria Becerra recently shared a heartwarming incident that highlights the World Cup winner’s humble nature.

The 24-year-old singer met Messi and his wife Antonela Roccuzzo at the Bresh Party.

“We arrived at the Bresh party, greeted each other, and Messi told me, ‘Wait, I’m going to get Anto who was dying to meet you’,” Becerra said (via America TV).

According to Becerra, Messi and Antonela greeted everyone before leaving the party. However, Messi returned five minutes later to bid adieu to the waitress who had served them all night, as he had forgotten to say goodbye to her.

“And there’s something that deserves to be told: when everything ended, both of them said goodbye to everyone with a kiss before leaving the party. And suddenly, five minutes later, Messi came back in and greeted the waitress who had attended us all night because he had forgotten to say goodbye to her. He’s a genius, a great guy,” the singer added.

In March, Maria Becerra became the first Argentine female singer to sell out the River Plate Stadium for two consecutive days. She is also hailed by many as one of the pioneers of Argentina’s urban pop movement.
