Pedri spotted on Spain bench with heavily bandaged knee — official medical report confirms injury

Pedri was spotted with a heavily bandaged knee sitting on Spain’s bench during their quarter-final win against Germany.

An official statement from Spain confirmed the injury.

“Pedri has suffered an internal lateral sprain of his left knee. More tests will be performed to rule out associated injuries. He will not play again at the Euros,” the statement said.

Spain won the game 2-1 to progress to the semi-final but Pedri’s tournament is now over. He will now hope to recover on time for preseason later this month.
