‘Leaving Real Madrid was the hardest decision of my life’

After all, the Real Madrid captain said goodbye to the Bernabeu team.

Nacho joined the Real Madrid youth academy in 2001 when he was just 10 years old. he made his official debut in 2012, before winning 6 Champions League titles, 5 Club World Cups, 4 European Super Cups, 4 La Liga titles, 2 Copa del Rey and 5 Spanish Super Cups .

Nacho currently represents Spain at EURO 2024. He decided to join newly promoted Saudi Pro League team Al Qadsiah on a free transfer after his contract with Los Blancos expired.
Nacho decided to leave Real Madrid after 23 years with a career full of success.
Most recently, Nacho shared: ” Deciding to leave Real Madrid was the most difficult decision of my life.

I told the club many months ago, at that time I had doubts about the future. But I’m happy with what we did, I have nothing left to win with Real Madrid.”

Nacho once affirmed that he wanted to stay with Los Blancos for the rest of his career. But, that didn’t happen.
