10 Barca players called up for international duty

After the fourth round of La Liga matches, FC Barcelona’s international presence remains strong as ten players head off for national team duty during the first international break of the 2024/25 season.

In the Nations League, Spain’s coach Luis de la Fuente has called up Barca stars Dani Olmo, Ferran Torres, Pedri, and Lamine Yamal for their upcoming fixtures against Serbia and Switzerland.

Jules Kounde will represent France in their games against Italy and Belgium, while Marc-André ter Stegen joins the Germany squad to face Hungary and the Netherlands. Robert Lewandowski is set to lead Poland against Scotland and Croatia.

For the younger talents, Fermín and Cubarsí are included in Spain’s U21 squad, and Barça Atlètic goalkeeper Diego Kochen has received his first call-up to the US national team for friendlies against Canada and New Zealand.
