‘Explosive Offense! Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes’ Latest Statement Is Blowing Up Fantasy Football Leagues
The Kansas City Chiefs have one of the most talented lineups from top to bottom of every team in the league. Last season saw a bit of a downturn – for the Chiefs, not for other teams – after wideout Tyreek Hill was traded to the Miami Dolphins.
But with the addition of speedster receiver Xavier Worthy through last month’s NFL Draft look for that aspect of the offense to return. At least that’s what fantasy football team owners are hoping for.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes appeared on The Pat McAfee Show recently and offered his excitement for the Kansas City offense in 2024, and indicated he wants more yards and more points.
“This year I feel like we have a team that will throw the ball deep… I want to be that explosive offense we’ve seen in the past,” Mahomes told Pat McAfee on his show.
That’s music to the ears of potential fantasy football team owners who will target Mahomes and/or Worthy before their season kicks off.
Mahomes is a prime target for fantasy leagues because of the passing numbers he generates and the targets he has on the field. Tight end Travis Kelce is one of the best at his position and also offers gaudy numbers from a fantasy standpoint.But it’s Mahomes who will be the target for fantasy owners during their drafts before the season starts.
