Barca stay on top despite Real Madrid's win: how La Liga standings look like after GW 4

Real Madrid were able to close down the gap to Barcelona in the 2024/25 La Liga title race with a 2-0 win over Real Betis.

Kylian Mbappe scored a second-half brace to help his side get all three points and move up the table to second place.

However, Hansi Flick’s side are the only team to have won all their four La Liga matches so far and remain comfortable atop of the table.

Barca currently have a four-point lead over their rivals in the league thanks to the 100% win record.

The Blaugrana will now be back in action in La Liga after two weeks due to an incoming international break in September.
