Barcelona ‘in talks’ to sign Bayer Leverkusen defender – NOT Frimpong

Barcelona are exploring the deal to sign Jonathan Tah, according to Florian Plettenberg.

The first talks have already taken place.

Bayern Munich are also interested in the German; however, the move stalled as the Bavarians didn’t meet Bayer Leverkusen’s valuation of the 28-year-old.

Tah’s current deal with Bayer Leverkusen expires in 2025 which means he should be available at a low cost.

The centre-back played a crucial role in Xabi Alonso’s historic Bundesliga triumph last season. He is also a regular starter for Germany and Hansi Flick knows him well.
