Raphinha reveals why he is performing better under Hansi Flick compared to Xavi
Against Real Valladolid, Raphinha scored the first hat-trick of his Barcelona career. That didn’t happen in two seasons under Xavi but it has happened in four games under Hansi Flick.
The Brazilian was asked why he is performing better now compared to the previous campaign.
“My understanding of the need to adapt to any position,” Raphinha explains.
“It plays a big role. The coach gives me a lot of confidence and I try to adapt as quickly as possible,” the attacker adds.
It is certain that Flick is coaching Raphinha in a different way which explains why he is playing with so much freedom.
Raphinha now has three goals and three assists this season and is considered the most important player in this Hansi Flick setup.
