‘I could’ve scored’: Marc Casado reacts to Man of the Match performance against Valencia
Marc Casado delivered a man-of-the-match performance in Barcelona’s 2-1 win against Valencia. The midfielder was brilliant with his movement, passing, positioning and tackling all through his 90 minutes on the pitch.
“I had clear chances to score, but they did not go in. I’ll work hard so that next time, they do go in,” Casado told reporters after the game.
“Flick gives us a lot of confidence. He asks us to be strong and play with the ball, that’s what we’re good at.”
“We knew how difficult it was going to be to win here at Mestalla. Their goal affected us, but we knew how to react. We had more chances to score,” the Spaniard added.
It looks like Casado has sealed his place in that Barca midfield as he is showing he is a solid defensive midfielder.
