Lamine – 8, Bernal – 7: Rating Barca players in Athletic Bilbao win

Lamine – 8

Lamine Yamal followed up his assist against Valencia with a wondergoal against Bilbao. Besides the goal, Lamine was a constant threat all through the game even though Bilbao defended him better in the second half.

Raphinha – 8

Raphinha didn’t score or assist but his overall work rate in this game was 10/10. Perhaps Raphinha was unfortunate not to get on the scoresheet but overall his influence on the game was massive.

Pedri – 7.5

This was another game that showed why Pedri is top-class. It was his cutback that got diverted into the path of Lewandowski for the match-winner. Barca are a better team with Pedri on the pitch.

Lewandowski – 7

Another game another goal for Robert Lewandowski. Despite turning 36, the Polish striker continues to show why Barca can’t do without him. He hit the bar twice in this game but still managed to get his goal. It’s now three goals in two games for Lewa, without him, Barca won’t have 6 points.

Bernal – 7

What an impressive performance from 17-year-old Marc Bernal today. Barcelona have unearthed another gem from their La Masia. Despite picking up a first-half yellow card, Bernal held his own, shielded that Barca back-four and helped his team get the win.
