Barca slap Vitor Roque price tag amid Saudi links
Vitor Roque signed for Barcelona on a €30m deal from Paranaense last year. Since his arrival in January, the Brazilian has recorded just 350 minutes of playing time, making it clear he’s not in the club’s plans.
With the Catalans needing to re-register him and facing salary cap issues, a summer move away seems increasingly likely.
Now, according to Diario Sport, the Catalans are looking for over €40 million to let him go.
Due to a clause in Roque’s contract with Paranaense, Barcelona must pay them a percentage of any future sale. Therefore, the club’ asking price ensures they don’t lose money on the deal.
