Barcelona stance on signing 35-year-old Perisic revealed

Barcelona reportedly inquired about the possibility of signing Ivan Perisic as a free agent, per sources in Croatia.

After missing out on Nico Williams, Barca’s new boss Hansi Flick reportedly called his former winger Perisic who is a free agent after having his contract at Hajduk Split ripped up.

However, Diario Sport reports that Barcelona are not interested in signing Perisic, not even for free.

The Blaugrana are focusing on other targets for that left-wing position, with Kingsley Coman considered as a possibility.

Barca have also studied the situation of Luis Diaz but just like Williams, bringing him to Catalonia will be an expensive and complicated operation.

Barca may eventually end up not signing any more players this summer.
