Barcelona ‘reactivate dialogues’ for Luis Diaz after Nico Williams pursuit ends
There might be another twist in the transfer saga regarding Barcelona trying to sign a left winger this summer.
The move for Nico Williams appears to be off the table, with the Spain international getting a no. 10 shirt with Athletic as a sign of his commitment to the club.
Now Colombian journalist Pepe Sierra, speaking on a TV show Sin Boleta, has reported that the Catalans might be back for Luis Diaz.
Sierra said: “Barcelona had reactivated dialogues for Luis Diaz, we’ll have to see if any movements happen in the last days of the market.”
The Liverpool forward’s father previously claimed that his son dreams of joining Barcelona. The 27-year-old scored eight goals and provided five assists in 37 Premier League appearances last season.
