Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes Lands on C.J. Stroud’s Controversial QB List

Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud is one of the best young players in the entire league, and he recently made his top five list of the best quarterbacks from this past season.
The young star made his list on a recent episode of Barstool Sports’ MILLION DOLLAZ WORTH OF GAME podcast with hosts Gillie Da King and Wallo267. From five to two, he had Jalen Hurts, Dak Prescott, himself, and Lamar Jackson. Then at his number one spot, he had Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Mahomes had a down year this past season, if you can call 4200 passing yards and 27 touchdowns and a second straight Super Bowl MVP a “down year.” But compared to what he has done in the past, it doesn’t look nearly as impressive.
But despite him not living up to some of the stats that he has put up in the past, he was still able to lead the Chiefs to their third Super Bowl win in the last five years. He will be looking to do what no quarterback has done before this season, which is win three straight Lombardi trophies.Stroud shows the same innovation outside of the pocket as Mahomes, and he makes just as many impressive throws. Many have picked him as their MVP this season, but the young field general knows he has a ways to go until he is on the level of Mahomes.
