Patrick Mahomes’ stats through the first seven seasons of his career are absolutely eye-popping. He already sits at No. 65 on the all-time passing yards list, and he would enter the top 50 with a halfway decent season.

The player that currently sits at 50 on the list is long-time San Francisco 49ers quarterback John Brodie, who played 17 seasons in the NFL. Brodie is only 3,124 yards ahead of Mahomes, which means that the Chiefs quarterback should easily be able to pass him this season.

Mahomes had an off-year this past season, if you can call 4100 passing yards and 27 touchdowns an “off-year.” His career-high 14 interceptions are not a great sign, but if there is anyone that can bounce back from that, it’s Mahomes.

The three-time Super Bowl champ is already considered one of the best quarterbacks in the history of the NFL. If he is able to break his way into the top 50 in all-time passing yards and beyond, he will continue to add to his already-impressive resume.
