Cubarsi registered in Barca senior team, gets squad number belonging to special player

After returning to training from helping Spain win the Olympic gold medal at the Paris Olympics, Pau Cubarsi has been officially registered as a senior player at Barca.

Senior players can wear shirt numbers between 1-25 in La Liga and Barca have handed Cubarsi the no. 2 shirt.

Cubarsi wore the number 33 on his back last season, now he gets to take over the no. 2 from Joao Cancelo.

With Barca handing Cubarsi the number 2 it may signal their intention to move on from Cancelo.
