Deco asked by Barca fan about Nico Williams & summer transfers – here is what he responded
Deco was confronted by a Barcelona fan in the city as they met in a public place, as per Victor Navarro.
The Portuguese director asked the person if he was a journalist or a fan. When the boy responded with the latter, Deco warmed up to him.
The Barca supporter asked Deco ‘Will Nico (Williams) come?’ to which the Portuguese man responded ‘I want him to come, but he does not want to come’.
This wasn’t the end of their conversation. The boy also managed to ask the director ‘But will anyone come (be signed)?’
Deco simply replied ‘Yeah‘ with this but refused to give much details on which players can be expected to be signed before summer window ends.
The Barca director is facing some heat after allowing Ilkay Gundogan to leave for free this summer and failing to secure a number of Hansi Flick’s targets.
