“Developers don’t watch any football”: Barcelona fans shocked by two players’ ratings in EA FC 25

Today, Barcelona players’ ratings for the upcoming EA FC 25 were leaked. And of course, the developers did Barca players dirty once again.

Some of Barca players got unexpectedly low ratings: Gavi got 83, Dani Olmo got 84 and, most importantly, Lamine Yamal got a shocking rating of 81. However, this is not the most ridiculous decision from EA – there were two other players whose ratings left Barca fans shocked.

We are talking about Fermin Lopez and Pau Cubarsi. Fermin got a rating of just 76 – and this is after winning the Olympics and becoming one of Barca’s best goalscorers last season. And Pau Cubarsi’s card is even worse – it’s a silver card with a rating of 72 and just 58 in passing.

Of course, Barca fans were baffled by these numbers:

“Cubarsi should at least be a 78. And that passing stat is criminal. Hopefully he gets upgrades as the season progresses”

“I was baffled by a lot of these but I just noticed Fermin and that has to be the worst one.

“Scored like 10+ goals last season, only behind Lewy and maybe someone else, important goals in UCL knockout, Olympics winner where he was 2nd top scorer of the tournament. Morons at EA: Lets give him 76 rating 🤡”
