Fan tells Laporta to sign Nico Williams during Monaco game, president’s reply revealed

An interesting interaction happened between Joan Laporta and a Barcelona fan at the Monaco game at Montjuic today.

As reporter by journalist Victor Navarro, the supporter told the Blaugrana president to sign Nico Williams. Laporta replied: “We already have a good squad”.

The Spain international is no longer expected to join Barcelona this summer, with the club already spending €62m on Dani Olmo.

Williams’ contract with Athletic runs out in 2027. His release clause is €58m,
